The Cornell Institute of Business & Technology and the Professional Bar and Restaurant School have donated more than 2,400 dollars to New Zealand Red Cross for the Typhoon Haiyan Appeal.
Secretary General for New Zealand Red Cross Tony Paine says the donation will help victims rebuild their homes, communities and livelihoods.
According to the organisation the money will also provide supplies such as medicine, food, water, blankets, hygiene items and shelter kits to those who need it most.
Project partner coordinator for New Zealand Red Cross Dylan Young says he would like to thank the institutes.
“I would like to thank you on behalf of New Zealand Red Cross and the vulnerable people that will benefit from your institutes kind donation to the Typhoon Haiyan Appeal.”
